We are less than 6 weeks away from the big day! Not only do I have lots of training left to do, apparently I also have some mirrors to clean!
Last week, someone said to me, "maybe running just isn't for you,"
which has been a theme of my life when it came to doing anything athletic.
I am a SUPER sensitive person, in every possible way. I get emotional easily, I get hurt very easily. And exercise has never been easy for me so I have been known to give up quickly. This time is different though - yes, I am get aches and pains I didn't know I could have and honestly, being on the treadmill can get boring sometimes, but I am pushing myself more than I ever have and continue to feel motivated.
Plus, this week was MUCH better in terms of my energy levels and motivation! I have made a strong effort to make sure I am staying hydrated and also switching up the times that I am going to work out.
During the week, it is tough to NOT feel tired after working. So on the weekends, I try to get my workout done in the morning when I have way more energy.
This has definitely made a difference - I am going to TRY to get up and go to the gym before work one day this week to see how it goes. (There's a GOOD chance I will snooze right through that)
Let's get to the recap!
